How to Install our Throttle Controller ?
Our Throttle Controller comes with the exact same OEM Harness used on your car so it's a direct fit and should take no more than 5 minutes to install. The Throttle controller can be unpluged to go back to stock at anytime without voiding your warranty. We only use OEM plugs directly from the car manufacturers. Not the cheaper versions...
While the engine is off, you simply unplug the harness that connects to your gas pedal and connect our provided harnesses in between. Now all you will have to do is run the remote wire under the dash and place it somewhere on your dash. The remote can also be completely disconnected for a more stealth install if you wish. - Unplug the wire from the gas pedal at the connector.
- Connect our Throttle Controller as shown.
- Mount the main box somewhere under the dash using the double sided tape.
- The wired remote can be disconnected to make it easier to be placed anywhere you like.

How will the Throttle Controller affect your driving experience?

All newer cars are now equipped with Drive-by-Wire system and because of its complexity, it will affect your throttle response.
As most of us feel a noticeable delay when quickly changing the position of the gas pedal. The Throttle response delay / Lag is an intentional design on this "Drive by Wire" system and the reasons are: Decreasing emissions / Safety and drivability / Comfort / Fuel economy.

Even a 650hp Supercharged V8 on the Corvette Z06 still needs a Throttle Controller ! No matter how much power you've got, you still need better throttle response.
After installing our Throttle Controller most customers will not need any other engine upgrades.
On a race track, while entering a corner, the requested power output is reduced since the vehicle is coasting or braking. After passing the corner, the driver will suddenly request more power to accelerate back to normal speeds. Fast throttle response allows a vehicle to regain its speed quickly after cornering. Drifting requires very precise and instant throttle response on a rear-wheel drive car, one wants to increase torque on the rear wheels at a precise moment in a corner to make it turn the car more in the direction of the road ahead past the corner, and make it stop at a precise moment or the car will spin out of control. No matter how much power you have, if the throttle response is slow, you will not be able to have good acceleration.
